Have you noticed how younger and younger the soon to be moms are becoming nowadays?! There are also those who are not yet ready for what motherhood will bring so this post is for you.
Preparing for the coming of a newborn is not as simple as what others think it is. We are talking of a new life so the earlier you became ready financially, the better it will be. Below are the diffrent tips I researched to help you.
1. Be sure and secured- Do not have a baby unless you are ready financially and emotionally. Always bear in mind that there will be 99% chance of you becoming pregnant once you engage with unprotected sex so secure your emotions and do not just go with what your feelings tells you so. Remember the results of your actions.
2. Set Goals and Priorities- Once an assurance is made that you are bearing a child then relax and take a deep breath. Now you want to set goals and priorities together with the father of your child and your families as to what will happen next. Write down priorities like choice of health center and/or hospital for delivery, ob-gyne for the check ups and so on and so forth. These goals and priorities are important ensure the next tip.

3. Organize your Finances- Now that you have a list of priorities you can now easily assess whether to where your money will be spent more or less. Payments in connection with the baby like check ups, hospital fees, delivery and so on will most likely to take part of the biggest chunk of the money so always draw a budget which can give you an outlook of the expected finqnces ahead.
4. Stick to your Budget- Talk with your husband as to how the money will be budgeted. Set aside an amount every month from the salary and/or side jobs. You may opt to apply a separate savings account for easier tracking of the budget.
5. Have a Plan B- Always have financial options to better guarantee the success of the journey to motherhood. Create an emergency fund for unwanted situations like rushing to the hospital and other pregnancy dilemmas. This emergecy fund will help too in case the money being raised will not be enough before delivery.
